Gothic, wooden parish church in Dębno Podhalański in the Nowy Targ poviat, inscribed together with other wooden churches of southern Lesser Poland on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The first church in Dębno was probably built in the 13th century. The current church was built in the second half of the fifteenth in the place of an older temple. The nave and presbytery come from this period. It is an oriented temple with a log construction. It is one of the best-preserved Gothic wooden churches and at the same time one of the best-known Polish monuments in the country and abroad (it was the only wooden church nominated in the competition for seven wonders of Poland), it stands out with its silhouette (practically unchanged since construction) - integrated into the landscape and exceptionally valuable movable equipment, as well as a unique patron polychrome from around 1500, the oldest, fully preserved in Europe, made of wood. Undoubtedly, it is the best preserved polychrome of this kind in Poland. It is made in 33 colors and contains as many as 77 motifs in 12 layouts. The most common are floral and geometric ornaments. There are also figural plots and animals, among them mainly deer. Templates have been used many times in various buildings, probably because of their secular nature in noble and magnate courts. The image of the Jagiellonian eagle above the rainbow beam is noteworthy. The tower with sloping walls, strongly narrowing upwards, was built in a pole-frame structure, with a room, in 1601. Today it is one of the oldest structures of this type in Poland, it is believed that only the church tower in Binarowa is older. The roofs of the church, roofing and walls of the tower and its helmet are lined with shingles, the walls of the tower's room were boarded with boards with ornamentally carved lace at the bottom. Inside, there are valuable monuments of Gothic sculpture and painting.
