The biographical and literary museum located in Villa Harenda - home of Jan Kasprowicz in Zakopane. Established on the initiative of the poet's wife, Maria in 1950. At the institution there is the Association of Friends of the Works of Jan Kasprowicz, which to this day organizes meetings devoted to the poet, poetry evenings. The museum has retained its original appearance from the time the poet lived. Three rooms are available for visitors: the dining room, living room and bedroom. They display souvenirs of the poet and his family, such as furniture, books, paintings and photographs. Next to the villa stands a granite mausoleum built according to the design of Karol Stryjeński, where the ashes of Kasprowicz and his wife are buried.
