An art gallery in Zakopane created in 2001 on the site of the former gallery of the Bureau of Art Exhibitions. It presents Polish contemporary art, organizes film screenings, concerts, meetings with authors, as well as Polish contemporary art fairs - the annual Marc Salons. The gallery building was erected in 1911 by Władysław count. Zamoyski. It was called "Polish Bazaar" and from the very beginning served as a place for art exhibitions. From 1912, the organization of "Podhale Art" Society was organizing exhibitions. Exhibition activity continued also after World War II. From 1951, "Polish Bazaar" was transformed into a branch of the Central Bureau of Art Exhibitions in Warsaw. Later, the gallery was managed in turn by BWA in Kraków and Nowy Sącz, until 2001, when the City Art Gallery was created.
