The peak in Dolina Gąsienicowa in the High Tatras, located in the side ridge Kościelców, which divides from Zawratowa Turnia in the north direction, dividing Dolina Gąsienicowa into Czarna and Zielona. The name of the peak probably comes from a shape resembling a church roof. Its silhouette in the shape of a steep pyramid is a very characteristic element of the panorama of the Gąsienicowa Valley. From the top, there is a view of the entire Gąsienicowa Valley and a panorama of the peaks through which Orla Perć runs. On Kościelec runs a black tourist trail from Karb, widely recognized as difficult, as the appropriate boards on the pass inform. Two routes from Dolina Gąsienicowa lead to Karb: its extension from Czarny Staw and blue from the trail to Świnicka Przełęcz. The time taken to reach the summit is 50 minutes.
