Located on the main ridge of the Western Tatras, the highest peak of the Czerwone Wierchów complex with a height of 2122 m. Built over the Polish Miętusia Valley and the Slovak Cicha Valley. It neighbors with Małołączniak from the east, separated by the Litworowa Pass, and from the west with Ciemniak. The name of the peak is derived from the character of the northern wall of the massif, called chair, which is 200 m high and is very steep. The Krzesanica is made of dolomites with thawing of Middle Triassic limestone. In its southern walls, there are about 50 caves on the Slovak side. The deepest of them are 166 meters.
